This exquisite cabinet's more traditional style harks back to DAVIDSON’s earlier days. Due to its enduring popularity with our clients, however, we have chosen to include it in our modern collection today. Similar in style to the Eliot Cabinet, but with a different base, it is hand-made by the finest British craftsmen and is available in custom sizes and finishes.
The cabinet is hand-finished in a rich, dark-tinted Macassar ebony, with beautiful gold leaf gilding running along the top and bottom and to the feet to accentuate the form. The interior is finished in satin, dark-tinted Macassar ebony to match the exterior.
The cabinet's smooth, curved edges enhance the high-gloss finish when capturing the light to create a softer feel. The cabinet features two central doors that open to reveal an interior with two adjustable shelves as standard, with two panels on either side of the doors. It sits on four square, tapered legs.
Each leg is inlaid with gold leaf accents for a chic look that ties in with the rest of the cabinet's elegant design.
To keep the look clean and streamlined, two polished nickel knob handles sit discreetly in the centre of the doors. However, it is possible to have doors on push latches if preferred, to avoid any distraction from the design.
