The beautiful Howes Table is the result of a six month collaborative process which is hand carved and finished in a beautiful pebble anegre, a new finish to add to DAVIDSON's range of fine timbers, with a luxurious bronze inlay to the edge and base.

It took six craftsman and designers from the respective studios some three months to develop the prototype which in homage to the philosophy of both firms is more akin to an art piece, boasting an eye-catching radial pattern on its surface and is a demonstration of the very best in British craftsmanship.

  • We are thrilled to be launching our collaboration during FOCUS. I have worked with Davidson for 25 years so it was fitting to work with them to create something truly unique and special for our 25th anniversary. Six months in the making, “The Howes Dining Table” is a statement piece and a signature of our design philosophy: elegant lines, exceptional craftsmanship and material imagination. We’re known in the studio for our finishes and detailing and “The Howes Dining Table” is no exception to this. Working with Davidson has been a great journey; we’ve loved every part of it, from the early consultations to the unveiling of the finished piece. The table is a true celebration and exemplar of British craftsmanship, conceived in our studio by our in-house designers, the skilled team at Davidson then brought it to life, it is part of our commitment to preserve and uphold British craftsmanship”.

  • Working with Taylor Howes’ talented team on this superb design has been truly inspirational and a fantastic experience for us. It has allowed us to realise the synergy that two creative companies can achieve when working well together. The end result is a unique and incredibly smart dining table which we hope will feature in many elite residences across the globe”.

  • Although I have known Karen for many years this is the first opportunity that we have had to work on a joint project, bringing our design teams together to create something very special. It’s been great to see how we worked on challenges as a team and all learned from the process. We have enormous respect for TH and were delighted when the collaboration was agreed earlier in the year, the culmination being the Howes table of which I know we are all somewhat proud”.
